STANFORD is an 80’s home in Southern Marin that needed to be brought up to date. The home had colorful orange-peel walls and a white-washed rough-cut exposed wood ceiling when the clients bought it. The clients have a modern, clean esthetic and wanted to bring their newly purchased home up to date with clean white walls, a darker and more neutral ceiling color, and modern industrial details.
Phase I consisted of smoothing all the walls and refreshing the ceiling color, adding new floor base, door trim and hardware throughout, a complete remodel of the master bathroom and powder room, and a redesign of the living room fireplace and mezzanine railing.
